Iron palm is the conditioning of the hand to be able to apply large amounts of force without damaging your hand.  The concept is to teach your body to not fear what you are striking, as well as teach your body the motions in aquiring the speed and momentum.  Although iron palm is not taught regularly, it is open to those who wiish to join amongst the ranks of previous iron palm trainers.  Again iron palm is a long process and takes rigorous training.  Si Gung suggested to train early in the morning every day.  The training is basically hitting a bag filled with metal balls.  Everytime you strike, keep notice of the position of your hand and your stance.  The way you body moves and falls.  At first the strikes will probably be painful.  However with practice and dicipline it is posisble to achieve a good powerful strike.
